Indian streetwear gave you two choices: mass-produced prints with nothing behind them, or international brands priced for someone else's wallet. In between, a whole generation was searching for clothes that actually said something. Nothing made here felt like it was made for us.

The Founder's Journey


I'm Bhaumik. I started StreetGen at 16, right when I entered 11th grade in Chandigarh.

The first year was mostly failure. Manufacturers sent fabric that pilled after one wash. Prints that cracked. Samples that looked nothing like what was promised. We rejected batch after batch and ate those losses—because I'd rather lose money than ship something I wouldn't wear.

I built this between school and board exams—designing at 2 AM, packing orders before class. Gave my boards while running StreetGen and still topped my school. Discipline isn't a marketing word here. It's how any of this exists

The Mission

StreetGen exists to bridge that gap—to bring American streetwear sensibility to India at a price point that respects both quality and accessibility. We operate in the 1k-5k range not because we're cutting corners, but because we believe meaningful design shouldn't be a luxury reserved for the few. Every piece is crafted with intention: premium cotton, durable construction, graphics rooted in psychology and culture rather than fleeting trends.

StreetGen exists to prove Indian streetwear can stand on its own.
